She has no name of her own. She is every name everyone has ever called her. She is nameless.
She has a good job, a beautiful home and a wonderful husband. She is everything she was supposed to be. She has structure and stability, but she is lost.
She is trying. Her whole life is spent trying; yet her whole life has been nothing but an apology. She is so tired of trying and failing. In just one week, she learns her entire life is a series of brutalities. She learns intense, consuming passion for the first time with a beautiful stranger. She learns love within this passion, and she learns heartbreak while without.
Slowly her breakdown overcomes her. She tries to rise above her circumstances, but when she has nothing left to fight with; she tries to ease the pain forever. Desperately, she fights her way through the agony of life, and she returns with a gentle hope. She wants to live, and she wants to love, for the first time in her life. Now, she has a name. Now, she can be 'her'... Any HER that she wants to be.

Review:
WTF!!! Is all I could say after finishing this book. How could it end like that? I was not ready for the book to end. I was just starting to rediscover happiness for Her! I could feel it for Her, then it was gone with one wrong turn.
I do admit, when I started I am Her I was a little unsure of where this was going. Who was this woman with no name? Why was she acting so strangely? There were times I felt, "Did I miss something?" "How did we just get from point A all the way to Z?" Who is this Z, and what was his intentions? I was constantly reading on my toes making sure I did not miss any details or sudden turns in the story.
I experienced so many emotional turns I was utterly exhausted. The way it ended, crushed me! My heart was finely happy for Her then I was WTF! Z was the epitome of chivalry, desire, devotion all things kind and loving. He made the fight worth the struggle. Sweetie, Honey, Love was every bit distraught, manic, confused but deserving of happiness. She experienced the Ultimate Roller coaster of ups and downs one person should never experience in a lifetime.
I applaud Sarah Ann Walker for her captivating novel of a person with a true mental illness suffering from a past unintentionally erased from her memory. I could really feel the emotion the characters were experiencing which is why I give this book 5 stars! I immediately had to download book 2 because I needed to finish Her story. Her story was far from over.
