Jettie and Drew stop by SSBA

The lovely Jettie Woodruff stopped by, dragging along Drew from Underestimated and the recently published second book, Underestimated Too. We were able to ask them both a few questions, although they were limited on time due to their whirlwind tour schedule right now. So many blogs!!!

********************************************************************

SSBA: Drew, it's so nice of you to stop by and meet with us. So many of us, as well as other readers, have been going crazy over you for MONTHS! To be honest, there are some things that we REALLY need to know!

Now, we all know that the rest of your story is coming out soon in Jettie's second book, Underestimated Too, but we couldn't wait, we had to know a few things first! Sooo....let's go all the way back - what were you really thinking when you first saw Morgan in that high school auditorium?

Drew: I was thinking....What a bunch of inbred hillbilly's. That's all I was thinking at the time. I was a little pissed of that I was there.

SSBA: Poor Morgan - she was so young, and she had to grow up (in more ways than one) so fast! So, after you took her away and married her, was she just an object for you, or did you care for her? Please tell us that you cared for her - we need for you to have a heart!

Drew: For a long time she was just an object, but yes, I did eventually start to care.

SSBA: Whew! For Morgan's sake, we were certainly hoping so! I'm sure you know this, but she didn't seem like she could take more before she left. Speaking of that, how soon did you find out that Morgan disappeared? Did you try to find her? Oh, and one of my other bloggers here really wants to know - did you find the note that she left for you in her e-reader?

Drew: I found out not long after she disappeared, Derik called me right away. I never stopped looking for her, and no, I never found the note. I had no reason to turn that thing on.

SSBA: Awww....so you DID care?!?! We have to admit, several of us just shuddered a little at the mention of Derik. At the glare on your face, though, we will refrain from mentioning him any further. We think we can all agree on what happened to him. So, back to Morgan, and speaking, well...he who shall not be mentioned, if Morgan hadn't disappeared, do you really think that you could have permanently harmed her? Do you care about her at all? Please tell us that it's not all a lie - please tell us that you care!

Drew: Hmm, I'm going to let you read book 2 before I answer that one. :)

SSBA: Oh BOO! It's a good thing for you that we like Jettie so much! Of course we will read further. Annndd....we're kind of crazy about you, too. (Must tell self to stop blushing!) So...what did you think of Dawson?

Drew: Dawson isn't who everyone thinks he is. I find him to be some what of a slime ball.

SSBA: Well, a few of us are kind of torn on that. We were a little upset with how everything happened before Nicholas's birth. I think we all think it was kind of a douche move that he left as quickly as he did, though. Anyways, we see the glare again - duly noted! So, we have really been wondering, why did you tell Morgan's mom about what you had done to Morgan and what you put her through?

Drew: I hadn't planned on telling her everything. I had a moment of weakness and poured my soul out to her. She was the one there.

SSBA: Hmm...not sure we completely believe you - you're Drew Kelley. You always have a method to your madne- we mean, brilliance! Stop glaring at us, you know we're Team DREW! So, onto better things, how is it being back with Morgan?

Drew: Being back with Morgan is, well, it's hard. I love her so much, yet struggle on a daily basis to treat her the way she should be treated, and not go back to the way I once was with her.

SSBA: Well, Morgan definitely has a lot of inner strength. She has made some tough decisions, but we appreciate that she stands behind her family and is trying to do what she can to keep that family together. So, final question - how do you feel about being a dad?

Drew: I am the best dad in the world, and I love that little man.

Well, there you have it, people! One of our favorite guys (that we love to hate), took some time to shed some light on his crazy motives with Morgan. We have heard that there is a lot more to be found in the second book, and you get to hear a lot of it from his POV! Yay! As you can tell, Drew is a man of few words, but he is still sexy as hell!

So, Drew, we see that you brought the lovely Jettie Woodruff with you, and we HAVE to ask her a few questions, too. Any last thoughts before we interrogate, we mean, interview, JW?...

********************************************************************

SSBA: Whew, Jettie! We don't see how you spend so much time with him! He is intense! We have to know - where did you get the idea for Drew and Morgan?

JW: I actually started writing that book a couple years back. It took Aleatha Romig and CJ Roberts to finally make me pull the trigger and release it. I don't really know where I got the idea, I just wanted to write a dark book, sooooo I did.

SSBA: Well, thank goodness for those two ladies! We definitely see how both of them could help bring Drew out of the recesses of your brain! So, as we mentioned earlier, a few of us were on the fence, but we have to know - were you team Drew or Team Dawson?

JW: Team Drew all the way baby

SSBA: Ahh, a lady after our own hearts! Does there happen to be a real Drew out there, or was he inspired by anyone specifically?

JW: Drew is not inspired by anyone particular. Drew was always his name.

SSBA: That may be a good thing for the female population out there, although, there might be something to be said about those spankings - minus the belt, of course. None of that! So, we have to know - who do you envision as Drew?

JW: David Gandy

SSBA: What, you mean, this guy?

Mysterious?

Sexy?

Brooding?

Dark?

We agree!!!!

SSBA: What about Morgan? Was she inspired by anyone specifically?

JW: Nina Dobrev

SSBA: Good call! Man, what sexy beast does she not attract?!?!

SSBA: So, just out of curiosity, when Morgan first left Drew, why did you send her to Maine? Any specific attraction to that locale?

JW: I didn't. Ms. K did. lol. Um, I just knew she was going to be on the beach and I didn't want it a hot sunny beach. I wanted it to be a culture shock for her, so Maine won.

SSBA: Oh, yes, Ms. K. Is it weird that we think of that lady from the psychic commercials a few years ago - Miss Cleo? All knowing, all seeing, all able to help a girl escape a crazy husband?!?!? Speaking of craziness - how do you feel about Dawson and Lauren?

JW: I think Dawson is a pansy and Lauren is a twat. There is that friend rule that you just don't break.

SSBA: No kidding! You just don't do that! Okay, well, we see Drew standing at the door staring at his watch. We know how he likes to be punctual, so we should probably let you go! Good luck with the rest of your tour and with Underestimated Too! We can't wait!

We thought we would share one last moment with you - a snapshot of Morgan and Drew!
