Wow. I don't even know where to start. These two ladies always leave us right on the edge of our seats. We return to the Severed MC and find that not everyone is happy with the death of Satan, Angel's evil twin brother, who was nothing short of psychotic. Yet, someone cared for him and someone wants revenge for his death. The only problem is that this person is not the only one that wants revenge against the people of Severed.
Ink and Elle are still settling into their relationship together, but Ink is a guy and does not always think things through, as we saw in the second book. He hires Emma, whom he cheated on Elle with, which causes Elle to freak out. In many ways, this was frustrating to watch because it just reminds us that women are often somewhat powerless in the MC world. Yet, Ink redeems himself a little bit when his hiring Emma forces him to evaluate and admit his feelings to Elle. And, this story would just not be the same without Emma being part of it.
And Justice. Wow. Justice has come to join the MC to be near his uncle, who is the President of Severed. He also came back to be near Danni, whom he had previously dated in secret, as she was his sister's best friend. However, he is not sure if he is ready to commit to anything. There is always a lot going on with the people of Severed, as they are trying to figure out what or who they want in life, but nothing ever slows down long enough for them to do so. I don't want to say more, as the authors have asked not to say anything that could be a spoiler. Just as with the rest of their books, you really don't want to know, ahead of time, what is going to happen. I will say this, though, there is definitely violence in this book, so if you are at all squeamish, proceed with caution. Not everyone in life gets a happy ending, and certainly, life is not fair. No where in the book world is that more evident than in the Severed MC.
