Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?
This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him…or if he’s uncovering me.

What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?

What can I possibly say about this amazing author Katy Evans and her even more amazing book Manwhore.  I can say that I loved her other series.  Totally fell head over heels in love with Remy and Brooke.  Manwhore was no different for me.  Malcolm, Chicago's most eligible bachelor and entreprener, is often misunderstood while being in the public eye, seen as a man who never settles and always wants more.  However, when given the chance, Rachel uncovers something so much more.

"He's a dark individual.  Dark as his hair. Dark as sin.  Dark as whatever whirls around him.  Something magnetic.  Unstoppable. Irresistible."

Rachel Livingston, a journalist working at a magazine called Edge, needs a story to bring the magazine back from going under.  Her assignment is to write an expose' on the one and only Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint.  Rachel is able to secure several interviews while also securing his interest in her.  Their relationship evolves as Rachel continues to fight this attraction because Saint doesn't "do" relationship and exclusivity.  She believes he sees her as another one of his women who wants to sleep with him.  All the while he is wanting more.  How much more?  Will she give in and allow herself this relationship?

“My expose’…what will I expose now?  I came in to discover and unmask a legend, but what I found is now lying sweaty and sated in my arms, flesh and blood, imperfect and irresistible.  And this-with him, here- is the first real spot I’ve ever been in my life where I wanted to stand still."

The story line is a great combination of funny while combining with sizzling sexual attraction and chemistry.  In each chapter the angst would step up a notch and leave you wanting to scream at both Rachel and Malcolm.  Rachel's character struggles to put her love life into perspective due to her father not being in her life.  She struggles at understanding how she could possibly fall in love and have those feelings.  Her roommates, whom I thought needed to mind their own business, needed socks stuffed in their mouths.  They often gave Rachel advice, although I thought the advice confused her even more regarding her feelings toward Malcolm and what their relationship could be.  Rachel did not want to be lumped into the category of just booty calls.  She wanted MORE, but her self-deprecation and insecurity kept her from seeing the relationship as what it could possibly be.

Malcolm's pursuit of Rachel is full of seduction and leaves Rachel wanting.  He is dominant to the core but not in a way that is overly abrupt, giving Rachel room to dictate the speed at which they move forward.  As she grows in this relationship, she begins to wrestle with knowing her assignment can potentially ruin what they currently have.  And...in walks a wolf in sheep's clothing...Vicky.  Oh how I dislike her...it wasn't enough that she already had the better stories...she wanted to take Rachel's opportunity and run with it.  What did she do?  Guess you will have to read to find out...

Overall, I loved this book.  I loved the connection of the characters and how the story line flowed smoothly. The problem presented itself to me two-fold.  One being Vicky and the other being Rachel's insecurity and doubt that she could be worthy of a man like Malcolm.  I wanted to reach into the story and just pull Malcolm out in order to let him know Rachel's assignment...Loyalty and Trust...this is all Malcolm wanted and needed.  Rachel deceived him and then hated herself for it.

This book doesn't end with a Happily Ever After...nope, it's a big CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!  I was so angry that Evans leaves us hanging on a cliff, barely hanging on...and needing closure!!!!!  Needing to know what happens!!!!!  I guess we all will just have to wait until July to find the resolution we all so desperately seek!  I, for one, can't wait!
