REVIEW:
I have not read the previous books with Carrie and Gavin so I did not know all of the background but it was okay.  M.S. Parker does such a good job giving the reader the jest of what has happened.

Both Carrie and Gavin are hard at work.  Carrie with her pro bono cases and fighting for abused and exploited people.  Gavin has been hard at work transforming Club Prive into a dance club.  With all of this going on, they are just like normal people who have so much going on that they don't get to spend time with each other.   

Gavin then gets a business opportunity that takes him to France and also allows Carrie to go.  I was proud of Gavin for not giving in and really trying with Carrie.  However, I also wanted to slap him at times.  Typical guy.

Will their mis ommunication end them or will the truth be found?  Will these two come to an understanding or will end in destruction?  I love how Parker can blind side but at the same time, leave me wanting more!
