Review: I came across this book this past Friday night, and it was currently free, so I went for it. I'm glad I did as Kiera and Will's story was actually very sweet for a short story and intro D/s book. I don't really read a ton of BDSM type books, so this ended up being more enjoyable to me, as it just scratches the surface of that type of lifestyle.

Kiera's mom passed away when she was younger, so she has ended up acting as the mom for her six younger siblings. A few years ago, however, she made the decision to go back to school and pursue her degree, along with working full time at the family's pub, and still raising a few of the siblings. She is finishing up one of her semesters, and her English teacher continues to give her low grades for her papers, but she has refused to approach him about it because she is also very attracted to him.

Will has also noticed Kiera and has hoped she would approach him, but he also fears her approaching him, as he is into some darker things, and he doesn't know if she would be into those same things. Kiera finally does let him know that she is unhappy with the grades, and they begin working one on one for her to improve her grades. Once the semester is complete, there is nothing stopping Will from pursuing Kiera, which he does.

At this point, Kiera has to fight against giving up control in this area, when she has had control over everything for so long. This was the biggest resistance between not only she and Will, but also between her and the rest of her family, as they all began to realize that Kiera had been ignoring who she really was for years in order to make sure they were all happy. This was definitely a great little read, and I will look into the rest of the series!
